NSL franchise clubs given deadline for 2021 EOI

With only 10 days remaining until the deadline, franchise clubs intending to participate in the 2021 National Soccer League season have until May 28 to submit their expression of interest (EOI) as announced by the PNG Football Federation.

PNGFA Competition Director Roosje Suwae making it clear that any late submissions of an EOI after the closing date will not be entertained.

The Competition Director said as part of the conditions set, all EOI must be accompanied with a payment receipt of K10,000 which is non-refundable and payment must be made to the account details provided in the EOI form.

The competition shall be subject to Covid-19 protocols and control measures and will be played only in Lae and Port Moresby.

The full annual affiliation fee is K80,000 and must be payable a week before the commencement of the competition.

The 2021 season is expected to start on July 17.
