PNG finished with Silver, defeated by Fiji 16-4.

Men’s Rugby League 9’s

PNG got Silver. Fiji won 14-0.

Weight Lifting

Dika Toua 3 Gold,  Konio Toua 3 Silver.

Swimming

Ryan Maskylene won silver in the Men’s 200m breaststroke.

Women’s Va’a V12 500m 

PNG finished with Silver. They came second to Tahiti with Samoa in third. The final times were 1. TAHITI 2:04.85 2. PNG 2:06.50 3. SAMOA 2:10.55.

Tennis

Women’s Singles

Abigail has won her match this morning, overcoming her opponent in straight sets 6-2, 6-2. The match was delayed from yesterday due to rain.

Women’s Doubles

Win against Cook Islands 6-0,6-0. Final Result: PNG 3,  Cook Islands 0.

Men’s Singles

Mark Gibbons won his singles rubber 7-6, 6-4. Matthew Stubbings also won his match 6-2,6-2.

Men’s Doubles

PNG beat Guam, 3-6, 6-3, 10-3.

Women’s Basketball

PNG lost to Guam 84-48. They meet the Tahitians on day 4 of the games, Thursday 11th.

Women’s Cricket

PNG beat Fiji by 9 wickets. Fiji 8/99 (20 overs) (Sibona Jimmy 3/17) lost to PNG 1/102 (11overs).

Men’s Cricket

PNG defeated Vanuatu. Vanuatu all out for 77, Damian Ravu picking up 5/14. PNG passed the score 7 down with Tony Ura unbeaten on 51.

Women’s Beach Volleyball

PNG’s Zoe Awadu and Emily Bae beat Palau 2-1.
