PNG have beaten Singapore by 43 runs and are now in with a real chance of qualifying for the T20 World Cup.
Batting first, the Barras made 4/180 off their 20 overs, with handy contributions coming from Tony Ura (30), Assad Vala (24), Charles Amini (41) and Kipling Doriga top scoring with 43.
In reply, Singapore could only manage 9/137 to hand PNG their 4th win out of 5 games. Damien Ravu received man of the match with his figures of 4/18 off his 4 overs.
PNG now have 1 game remaining in the pool on Sunday against Kenya at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. A win from that game may well secure their place in the 2020 T20 World Cup in Australia.
