The Lae Biscuit Company has jumped on board to support the PNG men’s and women’s national teams in their preparation for the Pacific Games in Apia, Samoa.
Lae Biscuit Head of Marketing Harry Kaisa said the company is honoured to partner with PNG Football Association in securing the sponsorship of the PNG teams.
“Lae Biscuit Company always partners with grassroots people as they are our core customers,” Kaisa said.
“They have patronised our biscuits for decades and now see us introducing our Instant Noodles.”
We want these elite athletes achieve their dreams and in doing so make PNG proud.”
“We are a PNG Company who invest in our people.”
“We are proud to be associated with PNG’s soccer and hope this relationship can be maintained for years to come.”
PNGFA Dimirit Mileng general secretary acknowledged the company’s support and challenged both sides to make the best of the sponsorship next month.
“Without your support for the teams, I don’t think we would have reached this point to get the team travel-ready and we thank Lae Biscuit Company,” Mileng said.
“I would leave it to the team management and the players that when our chips are down, we had somebody to come along and pick us up.
“This assistance is God-sent, to make sure that we come back with gold.
“The challenge is for the teams to make everybody proud by coming back with a medal.”
Lae Biscuit Company wished both teams good luck for the Pacific Games and other matches lined up for the next 11 months.
The assistance marks the company’s official sponsorship for both teams under the name of their new Snax noodles products.
