Ticket Prices for the upcoming Brisbane Broncos NRLW and Legends tour to Port Moresby will go on sale from 9.00am on Monday August 12, 2019 at Brian Bell outlets at Boroko and Gordons, J Mart at Erima, Cool Stuff at the Waterfront and online at www.tiketmastas.com.pg.
PNGRFL Operations Manager Chris Topa said the ticket prices for the games to be played at the Oil Search National Football Stadium on Saturday August 31, 2019 are:
Grand Stand – K60.00
West Wing – K40.00
East Stand – K30.00
South / North Stands – K20.00
The Brisbane Broncos Women will play the Oil Search PNG Orchids and the added attraction is former Broncos Legends taking on former PNG Kumuls Legends.
“The Broncos Women will be playing their pre-season game against the Oil Search PNG Orchids before they defend their premiership title in the NRL Women’s competition during the NRL finals series,” Topa said. “And the Legends game when some of their former stars like Justin Hodges, Terry Matterson, Scott Prince and company will travel up to play some of our former PNG Kumuls like Andrew Norman (Kumul No.195) and Joshua Kouru (139) here.”
He said the Broncos Legends and Women’s travelling teams should be finalised early next week. Topa said those former PNG Kumuls living in and around Port Moresby and wish to play in the Legends game are asked to come to the NFS on Friday (August 9, 2019) at 1.00pm for medicals and briefing on training and so on with national coach Michael Marum.
“We will announce the PNG Kumuls legends and Oil Search PNG Orchids teams sometime next week,” Topa said.
He added further details on the itinerary, community engagements and other activities will also be revealed soon.
Oil Search National Football Stadium General Manager Lee Pokarop said it will be a memorable day at the Oil Search National Football Stadium for everyone attending. “These are two great games you don’t want to miss,” Pokarop said.
He said the ticket prices are for everyone aged four and above. Gates will open at 12 noon on Saturday August 31, 2019 with the first game between the Broncos and Kumuls Legends to kick off at 1.30pm.
“The Legends game will be played in 20 minutes quarters with five minutes break in between,” Pokarop said.
“The Broncos / Orchids game kicks off following the Legends game at around 4pm.”
