The Department of Information Communication Technology, Office Of Censorship, Office of National Child and Family Services and the Department for Community Development and Religion are collaborating to establish a Cyber Safety Taskforce to ensure necessary policy, legislative and operational measures are in place to ensure the safety of our online communities.

Content control and cyber safety continues to be a growing concern as the Pacific Community embraces digital transformation in all aspects both social and economic, especially for the vulnerable groups including children, women and youth who are exposed online daily to harmful content.

The government through these relevant agencies will continue to ensure it’s citizens are protected both online and offline by establishing necessary security measures.
