Terry Wapi is set to become Hunter No.82 after being named at fullback for this Sunday’s Intrust Super Cup Round 11 clash against South Logan Magpies in Port Moresby. Wapi joined the Hunters camp two weeks ago from the Rabaul Agmark Gurias. The other new recruit Smith Siviri from Gulf Isou has been named on the extended bench.
Making a return to the team is wily hooker Sailas Gahuna (H44). Nick Hasu partners Justin Yoka in the halves. Kevin Appo and Baundo Aba start in the forwards. Also returning from illness is Junior Rau. Enock Maki has been cleared of a shoulder charge by the QRL Judiciary.
Adex Wera and Ase Boas have been named on the extended bench due to injuries. Woods Kawage will be out for about four weeks after sustaining a fractured jaw while playing for Enga Mioks in the Digicel Cup game against Gurias last weekend.

The first of the double headers is the Digicel Cup Round 8 fixture between NCDC Pom Vipers and PRK Gulf Isou at 12.45pm. The SP Hunters vs South Logan Magpies game kicks off at 3.00pm. Gates at Oil Search National Football Stadium open at 11.30am on Sunday May 26, 2019.
Meanwhile Junior Rop and Bland Abavu have been released indefinitely from the SP Hunters for disciplinary reasons.
