The Lae Chamber of Commerce has commended the Lae City Authority with its “Klinap Dren Program.”
Overgrown, clogged and non-functional drains are a health and safety hazard as well an eyesore around Lae city and Lae’s Chamber of Commerce is thankful that LCA CEO Neil Ellery for putting to action another great initiative in cleaning up the drains so that they can function properly as required.
Lae Chamber of Commerce also highlighted that citizens, communities, businesses and government bodies are responsible most of the mess, waste and blockages, adding that taxpayers money spent cleaning up the mess could be spent on other areas to improve services within the city.
