RAMU Agri Industries National Sales and Marketing Manager Roy Beerwald presented Morobe Governor Hon Ginson Saonu, Lae Open Member Hon John Rosso MP and Morobe Provincial Health Authority (MPHA) Chairman David Wissink with a confirmation of K140,000 for Morobe Province’s COVID-19 response.
Roy Beerwald said when presenting the letter on behalf of RAMU GM Ruari Macwilliam and New Britain Palm Oil Limited (NBPOL) CEO Jamie Graham, that it was the company’s contribution to protecting our people through this potential crisis. He further stated that when MPHA provide a list of required PPE or other necessary medical equipment, NBPOL will source, purchase and supply them.
Governor Saonu thanked NBPOL for their generosity and stated that it is the support of businesses that will help fight this battle. Member Rosso endorsed these words adding his appreciation for all at NBPOL.
David Wissink also thanked the generosity of NBPOL and said the funds will be put to good use.
