Speaking to the NRL media yesterday at training on talent that will be on display for the club in the 2021 season, Sharks skipper Wade Graham is very impressed with PNG international Nene Macdonald saying he will be a handful to tackle and will definitely keep Sione Katoa and Ronaldo Mulitalo on their toes bringing a healthy competitiveness to the club as well as a fresh perspective.
In further adding to their backline depth and talent Nene Macdonald returns for a second season at the Sharks and he does so aiming to win a permanent place in the Cronulla team.
Last year may have been a frustrating one for the Macdonald when he managed just two top grade appearances, but as a noted try scorer, one with 99 games of NRL experience and once rated amongst the NRL’s leading wingers, a fit and firing MacDonald could prove to be a major asset to the Sharks as the 2021 season progresses.
