EHP Schools to pilot remote solar printers

Schools in the remote parts of Eastern Highlands Province (EHP) will soon be introduced to revolutionary technology which will give them access to proper cost effective printing equipment and printing accessories.

Governor for EHP Hon. Peter Numu has allocated funds to see 8 district schools for the roll out of the pilot project of the Remote Solar Printer Project. A special project initiative of the Department of Education and the Office of the Prime Minister.

A major launching of the project will take place on November 6th at the University of Goroka Auditorium. Governor Numu, Minister for Education Hon Joseph Yopyyopy, Education Secretary and school representatives across Eastern Highlands and Education Managers will be present to witness the occasion.
