Moni Plus NCDC Port Moresby Vipers take pledge against GBV and DV

Port Moresby’s premier Rugby League franchise in the Digicel Cup, the Moni Plus NCDC Port Moresby Vipers have taken a pledge in making a stand in the protection of mothers and daughters who are in danger of violence against women in Papua New Guinea.

During the launch of the Bus stop warden initiative on Monday 29 June 2020 at NCDC Hall in Port Moresby, the Vipers sponsors, board and management team, coaching staff and players were present to show their support behind the drive to protect and curb the ever increasing dangers that PNG women and children experience in homes.

By taking this pledge, Vipers players are now key ambassadors and role models in NCDC’s stand against gender based violence (GBV) and domestic violence (DV) in the awareness, prevention and protection of the women and children at risk within the nation’s capital and PNG as a whole.
