The MRDC Group officially opened its new commercial office building investment, the Gobe Haus, in Top town Lae in Morobe Province on Wednesday the 14th of October. A milestone event for the Group as it continues its journey to growing its property portfolio in PNG and internationally.
This is the Group’s first investment in Lae, Morobe Province and is a proud investment partnership by MRDC managed Trust companies; Petroleum Resouces Gobe (PRG) Petroleum Resources Kutubu(PRK), Petroleum Resources Moran (PRM), Gas Resources PNGLNG Plant( GR-PNGLNGPL), Mineral Resources Star Mountain (MRSM) and and Mineral Resources CMCA holdings ( MRCMCA).
The Deputy Prime Minister and Member for Bulolo Hon. Sam Basil and Member for Lae and Minister for Lands and Physical Planning Hon. John Rosso were on hand to congratulate and welcome the MRDC Group to Morobe province. Both stressed the importance of local businesses investing locally and encouraged the Group to bring more business into Lae in the future.
Also in attendance, Governor for Hela Province Hon. Philip Undialu, and Governor for Gulf Province Hon. Chris Haiveta, and board members of the respective trust companies.
This K26 million project is a magnificent architect showpiece. The Gobe Haus features three floors of commercial office space, and embodies the MRDC brand, in quality, value, and meeting the highest standard.
With this investment, the Group believes it is well positioned to contribute to the growth and development of Lae. It is the first, but certainly won’t be the last.
