It is do or die for both Kroton Hela Wigmen and the Moni Plus NCDC Vipers this on Sunday in the second week of the Digicel Cup semi-finals footy.
The Wigmen halves duo of Solomon Pokari and Tony Wemin have been consistent with improvements. Hooker Patrick Morea will be looking to direct traffic and captain Valnetine Culligan will be leading up front.
The Vipers will see Shane Nigel at half-back but the opposition will definitely be looking to contain play maker and 5/8 Ase Boas with his kicking game which has been on song going into the finals. Added with the experience of Stagroth Amean and Brendan Gotuno in the backs and Kevin Appo, Thomson Tete alongside Enoch Maki up the front. It will come down to set completions and ball security.
The Gurias after a week off has given them time to assess injuries and bond well. The experience of Watson Boaz and Wartovo Puara Jr will be critical in attack and a young vibrant forward pack with Hunters Epel Kapinias will make for an entertaining match up against the heavier Lae Snax Tigers pack. All four teams with little to no changes in their lineup.

The winner of the Tigers and Gurias match will walk straight into the 2020 Grand Final. The defending premiers were red hot favorites but the last 2 normal rounds proved they are beatable. Gurias with an advantage in speed and attacking flare, the Snax Tigers will rely on their heavier pack to set the platform for an exciting backline.
Games kick-off from 1pm on Sunday.
Lets do better this week Gurias.
