With only 3 teams remaining, last year’s defending premiers now have a week off to prepare themselves and are on standby for the 2020 Digicel Cup Grand Final. The Moni Plus NCDC Port Moresby Vipers bow out of the race after losing to the Kroton Hela Wigmen who will now face this season’s minor premiers the Agmark Rabaul Gurias.
Lae Snax Tigers Head Coach Stanley Tepend knows the job isn’t finished yet and another week of is a bonus for his men to get themselves mentally prepared. After 2 losses and missing out on the minor premiership, the real challenge was getting the team’s mindset right.

Agmark Rabaul Gurias Head Coach Marcus Kaugla will look to carefully asses his players as the team’s performace at the back end was not a 100%. He was happy with the forwards on setting a good platform up front but they still need to work at taking full advantage of the opportunities presented.

Head Coach Charlie Wabo for the Kroton Hela Wigmen had a simple game plan and that was to focus on a defensive first half and contain the Vipers attacking flare as much as possible. The team is taking one game at a time and will look at a new approach when they go up against the Agmark Rabaul Gurias next week.
