Lae Golf Club Celebrates a Special Day with 2-Day Ambrose

Independence week started in Lae at the Lae Golf Club commemorating the 40th Wedding Anniversary of well known couple within Lae’s business community Mr and Mrs Buri on the weekend from the 12th-13th of September with the JBB Investment 2-Day Ambrose.

The sponsors of the event John and Melen Buri celebrated 40 years of Marriage, from humble beginnings where both husband and wife built a professional, strong and honest business in JBB Investments and today John Buri still remains the humble and softly spoken character many have come to know.

PNGBUZZ was able to catch up with John Buri on Saturday evening who shared his passion for the game which has kept him in good shape and spirit over the years.

The 2 day tournament saw 25 teams comprising 108 players taking part in the 2 day ambrose. Wednesday will see the independence day 4 player Ambrose golf challenge.
